Airport Transfers

To make arrival easier for visiting pilots, the organisation provides scheduled transfer services between Skopje International Airport and Krushevo.

Transfers are organised around a small number of coordinated arrival windows to reduce waiting times while allowing pilots to share transport costs efficiently. Return transfers back to Skopje are also available at the end of the event.

Transfer places must be booked in advance through the event web store, and detailed pickup times will be shared closer to the start of the camp.

Arriving by Air

Flying into Skopje is usually the most convenient option for participants. The drive from the airport to Krushevo takes around two hours.

Pilots are encouraged to book flights early for the best fares, although it is recommended to wait until receiving confirmed event acceptance before purchasing non-refundable tickets. Dedicated airport transfers organised by the event team will operate on the main arrival and departure days. Depending on your flight schedule, there may be a short wait at the airport while other pilots arrive before transfers depart.

If preferred, private taxis and independent travel arrangements are also widely available.

Travelling by Bus

Long-distance bus connections link North Macedonia with neighbouring Balkan countries and several major European cities.

Most international routes arrive at Skopje Bus Station, where onward travel to Krushevo can be arranged by bus, taxi, or transfer service.

Travelling by Car

Driving to Krushevo is straightforward and gives pilots maximum flexibility during the event.

The main E-75 motorway runs through the country from north to south, connecting Serbia with Greece.

The roads are generally in good condition, with scenic mountain landscapes throughout the journey.

International rental providers such as Sixt, Avis, and Hertz operate in North Macedonia alongside several local agencies.

Daily rental prices usually start from around €50, with better rates often available for longer bookings.

Driving Advice

While driving in North Macedonia is relatively easy, mountain roads and rural areas require some additional awareness.
