Paragliding Designer, Owner of GIN Gliders

Ginseok Song has almost 50 years of involvement in the world of free flying and over 40 in the competitions. Since participating in his first Hang Gliding World Championship in 1983, he has remained an active competitor in both hang gliding and paragliding.

He is also one of the most prolific and successful flight equipment designers in the sport, having produced numerous championship-winning wings and harnesses. Many of the innovations seen on modern paragliders are the result of his relentless pursuit of higher performance and enhanced safety in flight equipment.

Petra has competed in over 120 Cross Country competitions. A Tandem pilot and paragliidng instructor she is also one of the rare women that won the tasks. Petra is one of the world’s best pilots. She is not only a world record holder, but she is also a multiple female World champion, PWCA champion and European champion.

Dora Göksal

Famous Turkish pilot and Meet director

Dora Göksal discovered paragliding during his university years and has been passionate about flying ever since. He owns a paragliding school in Turkey, offering SIV clinics and XC guiding. A national team pilot with records and podiums, Dora is also an APPI master instructor, author of a paragliding book, and experienced meet director. He currently lives in Korea, working as a test pilot for Gin Gliders.

Stephen Ashley

Test pilot and Aviation engineer

Steve is a pilot from the UK who has been fascinated by free flight since his teenage years. He studied engineering and worked for six years as a stress engineer in the aviation industry, which also helped him fund his passion for paragliding. Now, he’s lucky enough to work full-time in the paragliding industry, combining his technical experience with his love for flight.

Acro pilot and SIV Instructor

Originally from the Canary Islands, Yeray began paragliding at the age of 12 under the guidance of his father, a paragliding instructor in Tenerife. He soon focused on acrobatic flying and later moved to mainland Spain to further develop his career. After achieving strong competition results, he became a professional GIN pilot and SIV instructor. Today, thanks to his background in both paragliding and his professional career, he is one of GIN Gliders’ most experienced test pilots and serves as the company’s Marketing Manager.
